TODDLER TIME PLAYGROUP
New Toddler Time at Dover Free Library, Wednesdays 10:30am in the Children’s Room for infants to children age 3. Toddlers can interact with other children their own age while adult caregivers can meet and chat with other adults who care for little ones. Come join us for songs, activities, stories and a theme related craft. Preschool Storytime is conducted on Mondays beginning at 2:30 PM in 8-10 week sessions. The Winter 2020 session begins Monday, February 4th and continues through Monday, March 31st. This program is best suited for children ages 2-8. No registration is required. Saturday Morning Cartoons are held the third Saturday of month; they are free and open to the public. Specific movie information can be found on the Calendar of Events or by calling the library 802-348-7488. Currently on hold due to COVID-19.
The UNIVERSE OF STORIES 2019 summer reading program was a great success. The program finished Tuesday, August 20th. At present the total talley for number of titles read by kids participating in this program stands at 161 and the total hours read 115 with reading records continuing to come in and be tallied. Twenty-eight children signed up to read more than last year. The library's children's program offered 18 programs for kids and their families with a total attendance of 87.
